Worqly is a business operations platform — invoicing, HR, payroll, and project management in one product. As its user base grew, the product started working against itself in two ways.
First, the interface. The legacy UI created friction exactly where a workspace tool can least afford it: a complicated onboarding flow and navigation that made new users work to find things. Second, the foundation. The existing architecture was straining under growing data loads, and Worqly needed a backend that could keep scaling without giving up speed or security.
There was also a market problem underneath the technical one. Workspace SaaS is a crowded category, and Worqly needed a visual identity distinct and polished enough that a prospect landing on the product would take it seriously in the first thirty seconds.
