Worqly: UI/UX Overhaul and Full-Stack Rebuild for a Business Operations SaaS — Worqly case study

The Challenge

Worqly is a business operations platform — invoicing, HR, payroll, and project management in one product. As its user base grew, the product started working against itself in two ways.

First, the interface. The legacy UI created friction exactly where a workspace tool can least afford it: a complicated onboarding flow and navigation that made new users work to find things. Second, the foundation. The existing architecture was straining under growing data loads, and Worqly needed a backend that could keep scaling without giving up speed or security.

There was also a market problem underneath the technical one. Workspace SaaS is a crowded category, and Worqly needed a visual identity distinct and polished enough that a prospect landing on the product would take it seriously in the first thirty seconds.

The Solution

Naqvix ran the project in phases, from audit to shipped product.

  • UI/UX audit and discovery — we mapped Worqly's existing user journeys and pinpointed where people were dropping off, especially in onboarding, before designing anything.
  • A new design system — wireframes, custom interface design, and prototypes built into a coherent system: simpler navigation, clearer information architecture, and a visual identity the Worqly team signed off on before a line of production code was written.
  • Front-end rebuild in React — the approved designs implemented as a responsive React application, with a performance pass focused on load times and smooth interaction across devices and browsers.
  • Backend architecture for growth — a scalable service architecture designed around Worqly's data loads, with optimized database queries, a secure database migration off the legacy setup, and hardened protection for user data.
  • QA and cross-browser testing — a structured quality-assurance pass across browsers and devices before release.

Results

The rebuilt Worqly is live at worqly.io.

  • Onboarding got shorter and clearer. The redesigned sign-up and first-run flow removed the steps where new users had been stalling, so people reach a working workspace faster.
  • Navigation stopped being a puzzle. The new information architecture put invoicing, HR, payroll, and projects where users expect them, ending the wayfinding confusion of the old UI.
  • The lag is gone. Optimized front-end code and database queries resolved the slow page loads users had been hitting on the legacy platform.
  • The product finally looks like what it is. The new design system gives Worqly a polished, distinct identity in a crowded SaaS category — the CEO's words, not ours, are in the testimonial below.
